PC requirements:Minimum spec:

Recommended spec:
- Windblows 95/98/2000
- Intel Pentium II 400 Mhz
- 128 MBs RAM
- 400 MBs hard drive space
- 24X CD-ROM drive
- 3DFX Voodoo II graphic accelerator
- SoundBlaster Live! soundcard

The minimum spec is enough to power my fridge.
The 'MMX' name always amused me, since it signified added power for a processor which was... supposed to do just that [namely mathematical calculations].
The recommended spec is reasonably basic, but all configurations depend on ONE thing: your monitor. Specifically its size. Run AvP at 640by480by16 and you're in heaven with the spec. But challenge yourself to 1600by1200by32 and an Athlon 600/128megRAM and 32 meg [of DDR!!] graphics card will have problems.
Advice?? when reading the spec multiply everything by 2 [and then add 50% for good measure].
