So, I'm back to square 1.
With the latest release of PHP, many of the previous functionalities have been removed and so have those of our sites.
Having been trying to patch things to make them work, I have come to the conclusions to start things from scratch instead.
The design&layout will stay similar, however, everything in the background will be re-written.
This way, much new stuff will appear in the near future.

As you are all aware, Colin McRae has died over the last weekend.
He died in a helicopter crash with his 5 year old son, and 2 family friends.
The racing community has lost a great figure. He has done so much to bring the sport into the limelight.
He name is part of vast game franchise bringing the racing thrills to our homes and to our finger tips.
Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.

My internet connection seems to have come back to life and is more-or-less reliable again.
With that said, I can finally get 10 minutes of internet browsing to let you know of the things I've been doing!
More content is being uploaded, loads of new stuff has appeared on the Releases Section. Things like Crysis for the PC; Medal of Honor Vanguard for PS2; Medal of Honor Airborne for the PS 3, for the XboX 360, and for the PC.
A couple of weeks ago, there was a bit of a racing theme, I uploaded details on Need For Speed: ProStreet for the PS 3, the PS 2, the XboX 360, and the PC. The sparkle of pure fun Colin McRae: Dirt also joined the listings.
The other month we brought you the info for Close Combat: First to Fight for the PC and XboX. Not to mention Hellgate: London for the PC.
There are many more, with loads of screenshot too !!!

So many things have changed yet so little seend (?)
Bit of a random statement, I know.
But, the GameStory troubles are just one of the things you have seen change here over the last few weeks.
The stories are up again (for those who have been paying attention), you can now find under AbsoluteGameStory.com! (more domains on their way).
Network Backbone
We have moved servers this weekend !!! After 10 days of waiting for out new account with a different service provider to be set up, we are now on a new machine ! That's why there have been intermitten DNS errors over the last 2 days as the worldwide network has been updating itself with all the new detials.
That's not all
The move is yet not complete, there are giga bytes of info & I do need sleep (and I also work for a living, so back to it on Monday). So, check in over the next few days as things come back to life!

What does this mean for you?
After 4 & half years on the same machine, things have become outdated. We had no choice but to seek a new service provider.
So, I have managed to get a basic advertising deal (hence the new ads on the sites) to try and get some extra bandwith. CLICK ON THE AD TO GET YOUR SELF MORE STUFF (well, we get to buy more bandwidth for YOU).
That's right, the more we get from the ads, the more we can bring you.
I am trying to get file downloads set up for us (but only peeps click the ads!).

Halo Movie On Hold

After recent troubles with previous disributers Fox and Universal, the Halo movie has been left without any disributers as Paramount and Warner Bros. have passed over the Halo project:
"As was previously confirmed, we deeply regret that both Universal and Fox did not choose to move forward with financing the Halo film under the original terms of the agreement. At this time Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh, along with their partner, Microsoft, have mutually agreed to postpone making a feature film based on the Halo video game universe until we can fulfill the promise we made to millions of Halo fans throughout the world that we would settle for no less than bringing a first class film to the big screen."
While it may be disappointing, it also shows how dedicated the crew behind the film are. We can only hope that in the future the film will find suitable partners and we will finally see the film on the big screens.

I spent 2 amazing weeks in Kenya, now, I just spent another 2 weeks trying to get things back to normal...
